Together with the European Fire Safety Alliance (EuroFSA) and its members, FEEDS co-organised the third webinar (out of four) on December 1st: “Energy Transition and fire safety” with MEP Maria da Graça Carvalho.

During this webinar participants were updated in three sessions and a political discussion on the developments in: “Electrical safety: a prerequisite in the context of the energy transition”, “Fire safety competency to support the renovation wave” and “New fire challenges of green energy in buildings”.

The day started with Session I organised by FEEDS and its members. the full video is available here (1h54min):

Session II was led by the Modern Building Alliance and enlightened on the relevance to apply fire safety engineering and performance-based design methodologies to address fire safety in the context of the Renovation Wave.

Session III welcomed high-level speakers from the European Parliament and European Commission DG GROW and DG ENER to exchange about current legislative opportunities to address fire safety.

More information on the full day are available here and the event report is downloadable here.
